BCEL deploys new ATMs
BCEL recently has finished the deployment of two new ATMs in the Morning Market – Shopping Mall and in the area of the Victory Gate, in front of the Ministry of Agriculture. In the near future, BCEL plans to deploy two more ATMs located at the front gate of KPL nearby Khobjaider Restaurant and at the Ministry of Finance. |

New office construction for Luangphrabang branch comes to an end
Up until now, the construction of new office for Luangphrabang Branch has nearly completed and it is expected to open officially on Monday 23 July, 2007. The new office is located at Phouvao road, which is the main road of Lungphrabang. |

BCEL completes installing stand-by power generator to secure uninterrupted services.
The installation of an engine power generator kicked off sinceFebruary this year under the strong commitment of BCEL to deliver of the utility power supply. Up until now, the installation has successfully completed. This stand-by power system has the capacity of generating 500 KVA which is expected to be able to automatically supply electricity to both existing and newly built buildings during the interruption of the utility power supply. |

BCEL successfully sets up the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system
On top of the stand-by power generator, BCEL has successfully Installed the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system at the Head Office and Vientiane Capital branch. This UPS system is to ensure uninterrupted services to meet our customers while protecting data loss caused unexpected interruption/instability of the utility power supply. |

Workshop and ongoing development
BCEL is currently holding the workshop on banking products and services at the Vientiane Capital branch. The workshop is instructed by the Vietnamese banking experts from FPT solutions, all attendants from all department concerned are expected to gain hand-on experiences and additional lessons which will be contributed to the improvement and development of the bank. The workshop will be a period of more than a month which is from 20/04/2007 to 25/05/2007. |
